EDDIE SÁNCHEZ (Founder) is a New York City-based filmmaker born in Portland, Oregon to two immigrants from rural Jalisco, Mexico.

Eddie directs, edits, produces, and writes original films, videos, and series that explore interpersonal politics, class, language, race, and intimacy with humor and compassion. His feature-length directorial debut, Mexicanamerican, will world premiere in competition at the 2026 Tribeca Festival on June 9th. His other credits include Screwed, a web series written and created by Ben Weiss, and music videos for up-and-coming recording artists.

Eddie’s film acting credits include the feature films When Icarus Fell, and Princess Cyd (Vanity Fair’s 10 Best Movies of the 2010s), and the web series Insignificant Other. On stage Eddie starred in Local Theater Company’s Paper Cut (Production of A Play Of The Decade, Denver region, BroadwayWorld).
